My Heart Sings "I Am Free"

Is there a pattern for love and kindness?
A way of joy to hold onto.
Because my joy has been on mute lately
And I'm hoping for a breakthrough
I there a depth in a river of hope?
Or a height to it's loving waves?
Can a man swim through loves waters,
And not drown in caressing grace?

Like a soft word attracts attention
A quiet prayer of a youthful soul
It's extraordinary when eyes awaken
It's amazing when our hearts are whole

Not everyone lives for the perfect love
The perfect song of the one above
But it's a choice that we have all been given
To make a lasting covenant, sealed with blood
Not from our own but from the cross
Our blood we kept, our sin we lost

It's amazing the day I awoke and ran
To Loves arms of the one, I Am
It's true there is no depth to the love of Love
I breathe it now, it's all my heart is full of

It's more than the ordinary
So much more than any understanding
A force that makes you kneel and fall
A love powerful and demanding
No more will I believe in earthly lies
To long, have they made me blind
I am finally now, wide awake
And all fear I cast behind

What can I give to the one who saves?
The one who took my weary days?
These eyes have seen amazing things
I'm so in awe by what Love brings
Now, the Sheol has lost it's grip on me
My heart sings "I am free"
My Savior came and to me he loves extraordinarily!
